He did not relate the School of the Americas to this thread. Related the principle of inducement to the excuses for preemptive war by way of example just as you introduced the notion of paying the family of suicide bombers, also not related to this thread, as a reason for war showing you how your idea will play out in reverse. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you and make that a part of international law so you don't get bit in the ass by your own karma. If we act, internationally, as a law unto ourselves, we will pay as all other civilizations have. We will become a note in history.

Cooler heads had always predicted that Iran would be one of the beneficiaries of a power vacuum in Iraq -- one of the many reasons Bush the Elder stopped the troops short with a clear path to Bagdhad at the end of the Gulf War. This situation is 100% Bush's fault.

Since it is a known fact that Iran is in the sights of the Bush administration you should take anything you read or hear about Iran with a huge grain of salt. A large part of what you read will be parts of propaganda and disininformation campaigns. Just like the neocons planted tailored Iraq stories in the NYT for example. The Pentagon and CIA are experts at this.

Yes, it's good Saddam is gone but the ends do not justify the means. The hypocrisy rampant in the administration is staggering.
