The Saudis have been working on that for some time.

The few videos that have come out indicate some sizable secondaries so maybe we got some stuff. The hard part of this is that the Houthis are already used to moving/concealing their stuff from an air campaign. Though likely not with the full attention of the US surveillance and intelligence apparatus.

My feelings are, unless our intel is extremely good, Houthis and their Iranian drones and missiles will remain, and the red sea will see sunk ships sooner or later.
I expect an actual resolution to Iran's attacks on us would require a full scale Iraq style war.

As they are attacking every container ship, indiscriminately, how does what they say actually matter in light of what they are actually doing?

You are suggesting that civilian transport simply be allowed to work under constant threat simply because some terrorists broadcast a nonsense reason about their goals. "Oh well! Say the ADL goes rouge and starts blowing up random buildings in protest of Nazis.

The FBI raid the ADL and arrest the bombers.

The Houthi fired upon USN vessels and have acted to obstruct American maritime commerce, the prevention of which is basically the entire reason a standing navy was authorized. I don't really care that the Houthi are catching some heat after being warned extensively.
