You think all the Iraqis out there support the government it is under?

Let me ask you this. Do you support YOUR current government?

Ahhh... excellent question.

Unfortunately for you it exposes the hypocrisy of your claims.

By your own reasoning, if you disagree with your government, you are justified in gathering up a bunch of your ignorant worthless friends, put some hoods on your mask, and then try to ambush reprenentative of that government, right?

Did you support David Koresh, too?

Contrary to what the media would like you to believe (and some on the left hope for), we have not lost the war in Iraq.

In fact, the war in Iraq ended ended a few months after it began as a clear and decisive victory. What's been going on since has been a half-baked and messy post-war cleanup operation.

Lol, well you can play around with words and definitions all you want, but it won't change anything in the end. Not only has your administration screwed up every aspect of the war so far, but they have no clue or will to fix it.

Yes, they are humans. There are two scenarios here:

They are Iraqi insurgents. In which case they are completely justified in fighting an occupying power (even many of our own troops will acknowledge this). If the Chinese came and wanted to set up their style of government and liberate us from Bush, would you greet them with flowers and candy? I think they are better off joining our side but you can't blame them for feeling that way.

They are al Queda insurgents. In which case they are likely extremely poor people without an education who were easily brainwashed. In the culture and environment they live it is easy to buy into terrorism. While a dead murderer is better than a living one, the fact that they had to be killed due to the situation over there is a sad one and I will not cheer for it. Its like putting your sick dog to sleep. While it is for the best, it is also not a cause for celebration. You are sick if you take pleasure in the death of another human being.

Either way they ar:thumbsup:e enemies! Nothing make me happier than see the death of my enemies.

Nothing makes me sadder then pure ignorance. Educate yourself before making a fool of yourself. Chrisms is absolutely correct in his statement.

You sound like a dumb liberal. BTW that's how I feel and you can take your political correctness and shove it up your ***.

What make me make sadder are tools like you who think they are smarter than other because they disagree with you.

I have no sympathy for all the insurgents. It's us against them, me against you. Survive of the fittiest. If I have to kill you in order to live, then I will kill you, that's just how it is.

Well said.

Yes, a large portion of the deaths are from HUMMVV accidents, chopper crashes, people slipping and falling from rooftops, etc.

Then you see bright red blood pooled below bodies and some images of dead people copied from ogrish.com? How retarded.

Anyone who's seen live action, recorded live action, real dead bodies with real bullet wounds would agree.

Interesting attempt at amature fiction, but nothing like the real thing.

Nice attempt at a conspiracy theory, but you fail.

Its all subjective. Was Saddam justified for putting the smackdown on people who tried to overthrow his government?

This has nothing to do with education. Many terrorists, even domestic terrorists, have college degrees, yet still act like that.

Education doesn't stop you from becoming politically motivated and becoming a nut. In fact, it seems to make a lot of people worse.

USF (University of South Florida) Professor Sami Al-Arian was caught funding terrorist groups. Infact, many of the people behind the planning have degrees in medicine, law, theology, science. Just look at Usama Bin-laden's right hand man Ayman al-Zawahiri, he is a Pediatrician!

Funny, the guy has a picture on his shirt that strangely resembles the icon you're using here at AT.

Listen, I already said I'm sorry for taking that picture of you and passing it around the net. It's just that you made me mad. Can't we just let bygones be bygones? Jeez, talk about holding a grudge.

Fighting for governance of a country/land is the oldest movement in the world. Our country was founded on it and also had a civil war 100 years later.

Currently there's essentially no such thing as Iraq as we knew it anymore since there is no such thing as national governance (only a weak proclamation of one). The outcome of the current civil war and so-called insurgency against the US will dictate what kind of state(s) it will become, not was we say we want it to be. Imo, at this point we are essentially irrelevant to what it will become, and our additional 20k troups are simply an additional 20k targets for countless others to try and kill.

Are you serious? By your logic we'd still be a colony of England. I'm sure the British felt the same way about the American colonies during the Revolution and were probably saying something along the lines of, "those Colonists are gathering a bunch of their ignorant, worthless friends, putting on some Indian masks and dumping our tea into the ocean, etc."

While I'm not cheering for those fighting against the U.S. forces, I can easily see how a populace could get riled up against an occupying force, even if the force was indeed there "for the best". It's not rational, but I see it as inherently human.

According to a lot of political thought, rebellion is only sanctionable when the people are being repressed. Is the US opressing the Iraqi people...no. Therefore anyone who feels rebellion is justified is another Michael Moore brainwashee dealing in subversion. Go Hanoi Janes!

I don't think that's true at all. Check out the oppression at the hands of the Saudi Arabian "government".

Scenario 3: Remember the old Doritos commercial, where they open a bag of chips and all of a sudden the fat guy is knocking on the door saying, "Hay guys! You hanging out? I'll hang out!" Most of them aren't even from Iraq... So what are they fighting for? They are the drunken idiots at the bar that purposefully bump into someone who is holding a bunch of drinks, hoping it'll spill on them and they can start a fight.

fittiest? come on now, let's use real words. I understand how you have no sympathy for insurgents or those who wish to do harm to American soldiers, that is surely a natural and normal reaction and I don't think any American on this forum wishes harm upon the men and women serving abroad. What I wonder about though, is your tone. It seems to me like you've forgotten that the US invaded Iraq, has continually intervened in the Middle East and that maybe a lot of these insurgents (whether foreign or not) are sick of it.

How would you feel if a foreign power continually intervened in your domestic situations, supporting unpopular governments, providing weapons to dictators, etc? I know I wouldn't like it much either.

I'm not saying your position is unjustified, or that your celebration in the death of an enemy should be any less, I just wonder if you understand that we got ourselves in this mess, and we have nobody to blame but ourselves for the civil war that seems to be on the verge of breaking out in Iraq.

I don't care who invaded who, that's politic. All I care about is that our soldiers is fighting the enemies, and it's better that the enemies are all dead. When you talking about politic, it's different. In politic, I may disagree or agree with you but it's after the fact. The fact is our soldiers is over there now and fighting for their life right now against those insurgents and I hope and will cheer whenever the insurgents die. The more they die the better, get my drift!?
