If Iraqis were occupying the US, and putting up bunkers next to our roads, we'd probably be trying to shoot them up and blow them up too, so I don't question their motives. But guess what, if Iraq did occupy the US, the Iraqis back in Iraq would still want their guys here to kill us and not the other way around. So we got to look out for our troops, and I am glad they shot these idiots up. It's not about the reasons for going to war, which I opposed, or who is right or wrong, which I think we are wrong to be in Iraq. At that point it's simply between the American soldiers or Iraqi insurgents coming out of that battle alive, and you gotta chose American soldiers every time, even if you don't agree with anything that is going on over there.

you're calling guerilla warfare = terrorism? Guerilla warfare may not be as respectable as head to head battle, but it's in no way similar to car bombing a wedding party or suicide bombing a town square.

The Iraqi insurgents are fighting us for the main reason that they Hate America and what it stands for. We fought Britain for Independence, not to be ruled by a foreign country. If the Iraqi people were strong enough to fight for their own Independence from Saddam's ragime, then there would have been no need for us.
