That footage was pretty f-ing intense. When the person holding the camera you're watching from dies in the movie, that's pretty intense. Focusing in on the gory details afterward was just sick though. A few shots of the aftermath I can see, but zooming in on a guy's ruined face is twisted.

Using a comical phrase that geeks use to mock 'noobs' in computer games is sick. Don't try and deny that 'PWNing' someone is not funny to people, especially those in these forums. I simply added another of these phrases to highlight how wrong it is that people take such a lighthearted attitude to the hideous situation the US has gotten itself and the UK into. Both videos are used as propoganda to further brainwash either side of this pathetic war.


Like others have suggested, if China or 'the united islamic association' or something decided that the US needed a regime change, (I mean, it's all very well and good the US dictating who can and cannot have nukes, but they are the only country in history who has used them against civilians. Also, it seems the bush administration didn't care for the immigrants stuck in NO after Catrina, he's not far off a murderer! Billions is being spent on freedom-sucking anti terror laws to save what, 3000 lives in the last 5 years? yet many, many more die from obesity and the gun problem. Surely some enlightned people who know better should come in and fix your country for you?) would you sit back and allow them to come in and remove bush?

I'm glad the second video was posted as it's healthy to have over-inflated egos let down a little. It's not a computer game, you're not over there kicking everyone's ass, no amount of raptors, carriers or ICBMs is going to help in dirty, geurilla warfare like this. If you see pictures of Iranians, you'd probably see some that are indistinguishable from Caucasians. Now, I'm not saying that these guys are Iranian, only that there are Iraqis who share the same characteristics as there's some mixing in the south, among the Shia. I saw one pic of a guy we nabbed who had red hair -- no kidding, the guy looked like he was from Scotland.

As for the video itself, I have little doubt that it's real. Tactically, many of the insurgents are stupid, especially those that are recruited and then sacrificed by the controllers (who aren't stupid, just not willing to die). As for not really seeing anything of the firefight, how much would you be sticking your head out when bullets are flying at you? As for why they would make a video, it's for propaganda. With a successful attack, they can show it to others to recruit them for their cause. This isn't the first time we've captured insurgent video of attacks -- happens frequently.

Yes, they are humans. There are two scenarios here:

They are Iraqi insurgents. In which case they are completely justified in fighting an occupying power (even many of our own troops will acknowledge this). If the Chinese came and wanted to set up their style of government and liberate us from Bush, would you greet them with flowers and candy? I think they are better off joining our side but you can't blame them for feeling that way.

They are al Queda insurgents. In which case they are likely extremely poor people without an education who were easily brainwashed. In the culture and environment they live it is easy to buy into terrorism. While a dead murderer is better than a living one, the fact that they had to be killed due to the situation over there is a sad one and I will not cheer for it. Its like putting your sick dog to sleep. While it is for the best, it is also not a cause for celebration. You are sick if you take pleasure in the death of another human being.

Either way they are enemies! Nothing make me happier than see the death of my enemies.

Not a bad idea. I am not in favor of cutting and running like French sissies. We need to stay untill Iraq is clear of any danger, can sustain it's own security, and defend it's self from Iran. Then after the shooting has stopped, we can send 98% of the troops home..
