IRC ? and a mini-mega dump for TWTA from me

I tried to get on TA IRC today, but it gave me the message "Closing Link: 0.0.0.0 (Invalid username [1])" after it got my ident response. any ideas?

On another note, I just dumped over 11500 wu's today, my most ever (by a wide margain While not as big as the last anonymous megaflush, but a mega one for me.
I had dnet installed as a service in w2k, so I let it fetch and flush on its
own. Had to boot up in 98 to do somethig, low and behold, 11500 wu's are
waiting to be dumped. it is still dumping in fact,took 8 minutes just to
dump 10% of them on my 28.8

I found ~2K earlier this week myself. The server that's running SETI I had originally setup to not fetch/flush automatically because it wasn't connected to the Internet, and it had 2K of WUs cracked.

give me some of the server addy's you frequent, maybe we can meet up sometime. haven't been playing much lately, been busy getting my new rigs up to speed, plus something funky is happening when I try to connect to Neo's server.

Just for sh*ts and giggles, try changing your username to Temp or something and see if it connects, if it does than something is screwy as far as username allowances.

Maybe if you send him an email he can help resolve the problem.

(do a forum search on his user name then use the email in his profile or PM him if he has it turned on)

thanks bkehoe, that was it. I just upgraded Mirc versions, so i guess ident was enababled by default in the new version.
