Compact (about the size of a small remote), weighs less than a pound and can power a lappy for up to 4 hours (52 Wh). Seems to sell for at least twice as much everywhere else. Office Depot takes a few days to ship.

Forgot to mention: The dimensions and weight listed on Amazon are totally wrong. According to the device's manual on the website, the specs are as follows:

Dimensions: 165 X 80 X 24mm
Weight: 430g

I think the dimensions are with the box and not the product alone or possibly the weight is with all the tips.

Jumped in! Great price for a notebook battery anyway, and with universality it's a no-brainer.

I wonder, can one use one tip (say HP) for charging and another tip (say Sony, with different voltage requirement) for running the PC? Unless there is some computational relationship between input and output voltages, that should work.

On second thought, since the system should run with no input (duh, when travelling), this should not be a problem.

Received mine, arrived much before the Amazon/TechDepot delivery promise.
Pretty much as advertized. I did not test a discharge cycle so no info on real capacity.
The quick-start guide says to charge first, but there's a sticker on the front saying "partly charged, ready to use". Partly charged is actually the best way to maintain battery shelf life.
My Sony PCG-F350 worked with the Sony plug even though the model is not on the list.
No funny 3-hole plug for Dell (like Inspiron 7500).
