pretty much everything on Number of the Beast and Piece of Mind totally kicks a$$...there were some filler songs on Powerslave and Somewhere in Time...Iron Maiden and Killers were good, but just liked the Bruce era more...

 to Derek Riggs the greatest album cover artist of all time!!!!

I don't know many of their songs but I always loved "Run to the Hills." It was an interesting video too...

Does anyone have the new Dance of Death album. It's pretty good, gets back to Maiden roots.

And think about it. Can you name another band that has been as popular as Maiden with very little to no radio exposure at all in the states? I know I can't. It's funny, the hard rock/classic rock station down here in Houston plays Ozzy, Dio, Dokken, Rob Zombie, Metallica (old and new Metallica. Heard Battery the other day) and a slew of other heavy metal bands, but never Maiden.

That's promising, BNW was very dissapointing imo.

It's probably owned by ClearChannel. Listen to streaming webcasts or something that don't play the same friggin' sh!t every hour.

They're actually pretty good channel, unlike the "alternative" channel that plays Linkin Park every 5 minutes. But, in any case, we just got XM radio in a new car we purchased so I'm expecting to hear some Maiden on one of the metal channels.

Iron Maiden is ok................they are no Puff Daddy fo sho

They were great back in their prime. I haven't heard any of their new material though.

Now, a band I really liked back in the day was Slayer. Now, that was some good times.

Maiden still sells out big stadiums in England. That's respectable, considering England is the ONLY other country in the world that produces good music.

I had Live after Death on Vinyl back in the day... It's a great album, but as much as I like Bruce Dickinson, I prefer hearing the Paul DiAnno stuff sung by Paul DiAnno, yet I agree that Bruce is a much better vocalist, Paul was raw, and those songs were meant to be raw. Phantom of the opera, Running Free, Remember Tomorrow, Charlotte the Harlot...

I do like the Bruce years better, Piece of Mind is a materpiece album.
