IRQ's and AGP/PCI cards?

Does it matter if my AGP card is on the same IRQ as my NIC, and my SB LIVE? All three of these are on IRQ 11. I have a Hercules Prophet 4500, and a D-Link NIC... I heard or read somewhere that they should be on different IRQ's. How do I go about changing the IRQ's? The box to select manual configuration in the device manager is shaded out... I can't select it. I'm running Win2k Pro if that makes a difference... Is this a problem at all?

Sorry... forgot to mention that I'm running a Gigabyte GA-7VTX... Don't know if that matters either...

Read the Anandtech FAQ article on IRQ sharing in Win2K.

I don't know a thing about win2k but if this happens in win 98, i can be sure one of these devices won't work. If you don't like yellow exclamations, win 98 users could try this.

Don't put in any card(if possible) in the pci slot closest to the agp slot. Those slots share an irq in windows.
