There are real world consequences to everything - should there be no privacy?

What about your proggie brothers in red states and red industries - are you willing to sacrifice their careers and livelihoods to be more easily able to attack conservatives?

I think these lists were of major donors, so possibly their incomes do average in the $5 million range. I too would be interested to know if donors to liberal type groups are experiencing such a high audit rate, given the environment prevalent within the IRS. And it should definitely be investigated, I'm just not ready to be outraged yet.

Well, they could be kicked out of being CEO for Mozilla for one. If one is a Koch brother, your point is probably valid, but there are other people who make very good money but are still vulnerable to PC attacks.

I can't imagine why any conservative or libertarian types would seek a career path in the IRS.

In contrast those who would... Do they think taxes are good? How good? Do thy think we need more taxes?
Doesn't take long to get go "let's investigate these other guys who don't like taxes" "lol OK go do it".

Man why cant we get some real scandals out of this administration, like lying to go to war and stuff like torture.

This is real amateur hour material. Come on Obama, get your act together!
Well, there's always the extrajudicial assassination of American citizens as well as non-citizens. Toss in a bit of 'collateral damage' as well if you like.

But that's for a different thread.
Plus the abusive NSA surveillance, violations of the press' First Amendment rights, failure to prosecute those who crashed our economy, etc. Of course these are all areas where Republicans agree with Obama, or at least the Republican leaders in D.C. do. So both parties sweep these real scandals under the rug.

This comment from the OP link has it nailed:
Democrat Play Book on scandals...

Week 1 - Refuse to answer any questions. Immediately queue up the lap dog media to run interference.

Week 2 - Refuse to answer any questions, change the subject. Turn the gain up on the lap dog media.

Week 3 - Announce that everything has been answered, its time to "move forward", and state that no further questions on the subject will be answered.

Week 4 - Call it a "phony scandal" and highlight the fact that it never really happened in the first place. It was merely a miscommunication problem.

Week 5 - Accuse Republicans of trying to resurrect a phony scandal, and ask what difference at this point does it make anyway? Place a friendly call to the IRS for "assistance"

Week 6 - Accuse anyone asking the same questions that have never been answered about the phony scandal that doesn't matter any way, of being a racist.

Yup. It's how they participate on the forums as well. Replace 'lap dog media' with 'ATPN modern progressives' and it's the exact same tactic.

Thankfully pretty much everyone has caught on. Liberal modern progressives are the laughing stock of society nowadays.

Don't forget "I don't think we should be prosecuting pot smokers but I'm not going to do a thing about it even though I can decriminalize it with a phone call."

That's actually an area where Obama showed restraint in not acting like a dictator. Regardless of his individual belief, he should work to have pot-smoking legislation enacted, not unilaterally decide the existing laws won't be enforced because he disagrees with them.

You're right. He shouldn't simply be declaring that he won't enforce certain laws.

The CSA, however, contains within itself that the heads of both the DEA and FDA have the power to reschedule any drugs without Congressional intervention. If Obama was being sincere, he should have instructed one of those heads (who serve at his pleasure) to reschedule appropriately.

As a hiring manager who relies on productive employees it has been my experience that lefties are the laziest and most selfishly entitled employees overall. I make sure they reveal their political views during the interview process. Easy to weed out the rifraff and drain on resources that way. Lefties need not apply.

For someone SpatiallyAware, you really aren't.

Must be a joke I take it?

Nice attempt though.

Three years later the company collapses because all the employees spend all their time on the net arguing that entitlements and equal opportunity are not needed anymore

Lucky they will be able to blame Obama's economy and Modern Progressives for that and start collecting their extended "vacation" checks

Yeh, and then they end up on long term unemployment, EITC, food stamps & Obamacare. Maybe SSDI.

They're now free to stand guard at the Bundy ranch, swap conspiracy theories over the campfire, hate on Obama.

Agree. I have had to work with many liberal leftist scumbags and not all but many tend to be very selfish always wanting other peoples money and lazy in general.

Of course you do. If you really are a hiring manager, then what you posted before was one of the stupidest posts in the history of ATPN.

Interesting....so you publicly admit to illegal interviewing. Just where do you work?

Does your company know you do this? I bet if they knew, you would be out of a job, since you just opened them up to lawsuits from the "lefties' you weeded out.

Amazing how the far-right feels laws only applies to others, and not them.

Sounds great to me, fuck `em. I filter out the Lefty wingnuts during the first 90 days, they're just about universally worthless.

Did they admit they targeted conservative groups or that they used targeted searches in general? There is a difference.
They admitted to improperly targeting conservative groups.

I can't imagine why any conservative or libertarian types would seek a career path in the IRS.

Agreed. Would that he would be so principled in other areas.
