I just went through 25 pages of the script. The "f-word" was used five times. That is once every five minutes of film time. Hardly 25%.

I haven't been able to bring myself to watch it. It was on sale at BB on a 2 for $20 sale but I didn't buy it. I don't know if I would find it funny or if it would hit too close to home. I saw a scene where he was reading comic books in his bed or something and I used to be a big comic book collector. I'm just afraid there would be too many parallels in my life with that movie.

My 13 year old daughter forced me to watch Napoleon Dynamite which she thinks is the best movie ever & I have to say that even when I was 13 myself I would have thought it was painfully bad! Anchorman had a few good laughs in it but overall not very good.
40 year old Virgin is better then Anchorman, but also not great ... its worth watching for sure though. Funniest movie I've seen this year was Wedding crashers by far & I also watched Dodgeball for the first time a couple months ago & enjoyed it a lot.

It had some hilarious moments, but until the jazz flute scene I was pretty much completely bored and annoyed with it. I think 40-YO Virgin is a much better film.

I thought Anchorman was not funny at all, except maybe for the street brawl scene. However, I thought 40 yo virgin was funny at times, but not that great of a comedy overall.

Found 40 year old virgin hilarious! I was TRYING to find ONE entertaining scene from Napolian Dynamite. Watched that horrible movie once, never again.

Never seen Anchorman.
