I'm getting rid of some old file and stumbled upon some old pay stubs from 2007. Then, as only a few years into my working career, I was making $A amount per hour. Now in 2012, I'm making $A + $10 per hour. In the overall scheme of things, a $10 per hour increase in a 5 year time span seems insignificant. Am I shooting low on my job choices?
I wonder if there's a graph of salary increase per hour over the years that I can use as a comparison. I'm thinking that it will probably look like a logarithmic response were it rapidly increases in the first few years and then kind of slow down in the later years.
... Of course, I am not complaining about my job. Just saying.
