During competition he was 2-3% body fat and probably no more than 8% at 260lbs.

8% is still extremely extremely good shape. 240-250 at 12-13% may not be all muscle but I'd still consider them in shape and they would certainly appear jacked in comparison to most.

Also, 2% body fat is super low and unhealthy. Your body needs fat to absorb toxins that enter your body. A man at 2% body fat is less resistant to disease, allergens, and poisons than a man at 8% oddly enough. Though obviously too high increases risk or heart disease and liver issues. Happy medium is the goal. 8-10% is a good goal for most men who want to be in very good shape. Noted from Wikipedia "5% is generally considered a physiological minimum for human males"

It seems that from using a scale estimated based on my BMI, I'm around a 28-29% body fat, which is on the lower ends of overweight (but I knew I was overweight) with 26% being considered acceptable. Who knows how accurate this is, but it's probably not a too bad of approximation. Also according to that if I get down to 200 I'd be in the upper end of fitness. None of this seems to account for muscularity, so I think if I aim for 200 lbs and keep the muscle I have then I'll be pretty ripped. I was actually down to 207 about 3 years ago, but started working out and gained muscle then stopped working out and gained fat too. Time to get back to the gym.

I love how all of the fat and macho guys are saying that 6'1" and 160lbs is skin-and-bones and underweight. LOL, whatever you guys need to tell yourselves...

If you enjoy possessing the physical strength of a child then by all means keep your body in a physically retarded state.

yes competition weight is only kept briefly for competition for the reasons you stated.

Also I am refering to Body fat not bmi. bmi is meaningless.

6'1 160 lbs means a BMI of 21, so in the normal range. 6'1 290 lbs gives you a BMI of 38.

"I'm not fat, everybody else are abnormally skinny wah wah".

I'm obese, never said I wasn't. But I weighed 160 in 7th grade and by no means would I consider my body frame at that time to be "normal". I didn't get beefy until I hit thirty but most of my 20's I was 240 or 250 and I nobody referred to me as fat.

Because it is skin and bones and underweight.

More like, whatever you need to tell yourself to make yourself feel better.

I was there for a long time, stuck at 160. It was gross.

you guys are all so stupid.
NO, it all depends on your body complexion. I'm 5'5 and wight 162 pounds and I never get called fat but fit.
however, if you feel insecure about your body image, exercise and a low calorie intake diet would help you boost your self-esteem.
