Is a convertible inherently feminine?

So yes, the EOS is a girly car, since it is a convertible that isn't a sportscar.

Sorry, I only know 2 people with old T-bird convertibles, and they are both women in their 60's. Not saying it's a chick car, but it's close.

It's a great car. It's perfectly comfortable for long trips. Plenty of power, and it has a trunk that is big enough that my wife and I can travel in it. It is a pleasure to drive home from work with the top down on the backroads.

Miata, MR-Spyder, S2000, Eos, MINI Cooper => Girly
Mustang, Sebring, Corvette, whatever Volvo has => Not so girly


Mind you, I owned an S2000 for years and loved it, just as I imagine I'd love driving any of the cars I just called girly (Eos, maybe not because I know nothing about it)...sometimes, you just have to not care what other people think of you and go for what you enjoy

S2000 is girly but the Sebring isn't? It's minimalist, no sound deadening, extremely stiff, only comes in manual, needs to be revved high and 99% of owners must be guys.

Yup, it does have that image. Had it when I owned one.

I certainly don't like that it's that way, but so it is.

Looks good to me. And I'm no chick...used to drive an M3, and switched to a Touareg becuase I thought I needed an SUV and realized that that was stupid. Really liked the VW, though, and like the idea of a convertible that also has a hard top, isn't outrageously expensive and has good gas mileage.
