Get the MBA if you have a reason for getting it. This can include starting a business or moving into management in a company.
Do NOT get an MBA just to get one. Then it is fairly worthless.
I'm sure there must be something you can gain by taking it, it may not necessarily teach you how to start a business better but possibly give you a stronger skillset to work with.Originally posted by: Naustica

Why do you need a MBA for starting a business? You think they actually teach you useful thing about starting or running a business? lol.
Even a lot of people in the IT area benefit from an MBA, I know of one specifically who reports directly to the CIO of a large company that worked on one while working.Originally posted by: koloastreet

What exactly is an MBA? Or a BBA for that matter.
I am aware of Associate's degrees, Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D's.

I don't have one from a top 10 school (Not even top 30), I have 4 years of experience, and I work in treasury at a fortune 100 company right next to Duke MBAs. Although mine was in finance. MBAs get you noticed, your brains get you fed.
