I just sold my graphics card and i only have a tnt2 laying around and an ASUS P4T-E motherboard which only takes 1.5V agp cards... will it be compatible with my mobo?
I used a Dell TNT2 M64 in my P4T533 for awhile without incident. I think all the Dell M64s are AGP 2.0 compliant. Older TNT2s will probably have issues.
A few of the later TNT2's were 1.5V AGP compliant so it's difficult to say for certain.
If you purchased at launch it's most definitely AGP 3.3V/AGP2X only however.
If your card has both notches, then it is impossible to tell without a volt-meter. The P4T-E does not have the AGP indicator light; I don't think it would be a good idea to risk the board.
Could you pick up a GF4MX or low end Radeon or something?
i guess i wont use it then... i just needed a temp card until my aiw 9700 arrives from a fellow member... but ill try to live w/o my computer for a couple of days..
