Is analog audio switch bi-directional?

I have a 3 GE A/V switches that are designed to pass input from up to 4 A/V sources to one output. The 4 input set connections are each 3 RCAs, one composite video (yellow), and a left and a right stereo audio RCA plug, plus S-Video.

I am using one of these 3 GE swtches to provide line stereo audio via left/right RCA to a simple stereo T amplifier that drives a couple of bookshelf speakers in my kitchen off a handful of different audio sources (i.e. I'm ignoring the video component, have no need of that).

I have a peculiar need in that in my bedroom I have a couple of 300 disk CD players that work in tandem, by manufacturer design. Using the remote, I can choose to play, say, disk 538, which is disk 238 in the slave player.

Now, I want to direct line output from the master CD player to multiple locations:

1. a headphone amp
2. a stereo receiver to drive speakers
3. a USB sound card on a laptop (Behrenger UCA202)

Can I use one of those GE switches in reverse? IOW, can I assume that one of those GE switches will let me use it's output as an input from the master CD player and route the stereo line output (says "Input" on the switch, of course) to any of 1, 2 or 3 above, my choice at the push of its button? I'd think so, but I want to check here before going to the trouble of setting this up.

I think the answer is very likely that IT WILL WORK. A similar device selling at Amazon had this question posed and someone answered:

It will work in reverse. Reverse the connections. Connect the singular input to the output, and your (up to 4) outputs to the inputs. It even says this on the box that it comes in.

Yeah you can use those audio/composite video switches in reverse.
