these guys do this, go to college and have to balance everything and still stay healthy. It's not that easy. And I'm talking from experience. I'm still in hs, taking 25 cr hours at college and running an ISP/hosting company and still leave time for social interaction. It gets really busy. The guys doing this know how to push themselves and know their limits. And they do a very good job. They know how to do this and I think you should realize that they are thoroughly dedicated to this. Asking to do more is not very realistic. As they grow, they can afford to hire more people. Anand knows what's right for his company.

I think anandtech does a good job with the number and quality of reviews(with a few exceptions ). To go as in-depth wtih the reviews as these guys do takes a tremendous amount of time.

As far as reviewing cases, I would vote against reviewing them unless they could find the time to review most of them. For example, one of the only cases reviewed is the Fong-Kai, while being a great case, a lot of people swear by it becaues Anandtech rates it high. They havent' reviewed newer cases that a lot of us feel are better, so unless they can keep up with new cases, I would say suggest not reviewing any.

Hey, ever taken a full time credit load at one ouf your local universities...its not High School trust me...coleege takes time, and since you are paying for it, it is in your best interest to do well, even more so thatn high school was.

It's not laziness, just time constraints, as Anand mentions on the front page. I appreciate what they put out, as it's usually quality and well though out, and I wouldn't want them to compromise that. I would like to see more case/power supply/fan reviews with an ear to noise level, though .

Anandtech may not do oh so many reviews as other places, but you find lots of links in the news which is the main reason I visit the homepage. that's really interesting and useful. there's only so much one group of guys can do.

yeah, I come here because of the forum only, the last time I went to the main site was when I didn't know what a 3d accelerator was... Truthfully, more than half of the people here are probably better at reviewing then anandtech is.

Sometimes I want to hurl because of all the precious hardware that he reviews, talks about what the whitepaper says, hype, and some benchmarks, which leave us with more questions, then answers.

Again, most companies advertise because of his hits, hits that he gets because of newbees, forum users, and because his meta name is huge.

I agree that these reviews are in depth and in major details...but i dont think that the technology market is slowing down...theres plenty of stuff around...like stephen said...wheres that nv20 review?

Well, in my opinion, this site is fine. There is always room for more content, but basically, everything is fine now (especially since what is put up is always top notch).

I would like to see more reviews of other essential computer parts though... Especially cases, monitors, and peripherals. The case that I want to see reviewed especially is the Antec KS188 (I think thats it), oh, and I wouldn't mind seeing some reviews on LG's new monitors.

Other than that though, everything's fine by me...

Even though I'm Jr Member I have been coming hear for a while. First started visiting when Super7 boards were new and overclocked pentiums where hitting 180Mhz. Followed a link from a motherboard manufacturer's site (Epox) and have been coming back ever since.

Can't tell you how impressed I was when I finally realized that Anand was a High School Senior running a web-site in his spare time, and that people like Intel, AMD, and a number of MB mfg's, were sending him pre-release samples for on-line review's. I think that fact states volumes about his credibility and the quality of the site.

Since then site has grown and gone though a number of changes. Forms are now as much a reason to visit as the reviews are. I also remember what a full load in college was like, and any free time was usally spent with friends and unwinding, not writing hardware reviews. Obviously site has grown to be more that just a hobbie but (IMHO) I think they do a pretty good job. Has to be one of the top sites for anyone interested in getting something extra out of their PC.

I like this site just as well as any other good site because it has soul.
Because I read the articles and think, hey some guy was probably up at 4 like I am doing this stuff. The people are real and that gives the content something more than just plain words. It attaches to it the momentum, the dedication and the self-sacrifice and discipline that I recognize and respect because of its rarity in our society. That is why I come here, to support the site. And the articles are not lacking. Of course more can be done, but it is still very high quality. To even suggest laziness is absurd. Think about the entire situation. Is what you suggest even remotely possible?

Well some weeks there is a new review everyday and other weeks there is only one or two. I come here mainly for the forums, though.

There is TONS OF NEW EQUIPMENT that he's spending time on. We got all sorts of new motherboards and memory and NVIDIA videocards and hard drives and... you get the point. Expect a flurry of reviews next month.
