After AIM kicked me many times and Trillian reconnected me... bringing up alerts while I was in a conference (yes at this time of night), I shut it down. The last status message was:

[01:44] *** Lost connection to network (Error Code: 10054).

That message was on both AIM and ICQ. Then, now that I've finally connected, I know that about 1/2 of the people that are at their computers aren't on IM!

yea aim is retarded in general. use icq to chat with aim ppl, which usually gives me better results.

When I woke up this morning, I was signed off, with a "connection lost" error. Got back on, though.
