Is anyone getting a good overclock with an 875/865 mobo and a P4 533 MHz FSB CPU? Please post your results here!

Here are my specs:

2.4ghz p4 (A) 400mhz FSB
2 gigs of Corsair XMS Twinx1024x3200LL(matched Pair)DDR400
Asus P4C800D (i875 Canterwood)
2 WD360 Raptors SATA
Geforce 4 TI 4600 (albatron medusa w/thermaltake fan and tin coated copper ram sinks)
420w Thermaltake Silent Pure Power w/ PFC
Zalman CNPS-7000 w/ fanmate controller
Audigy 2
Plextor 504A DVD/CD burner
Xaser III v2000a Thermaltake Aluminium Case

Now I'm a newbie and trying to understand how to just increase my FSB, I don't really want to overclock my CPU speed right now, I just want to change the divider...I know I do this in the BIOS, but how?

If you want to raise the FSB and not overclock your CPU, you will have to get an AMD rig. The Asus may let you change the memory ratio, but from what I am hearing, 1:1 is the optimal ratio on these boards, at least for now.

thermite88 I'll see if I can figure out your issue while I'm at it. I did an idea. If you set the FSB to 133+ in the BIOS (dont save), do you then get the DDR266 (1:1) option?

We sure think alike. It is the first BIOS setting that I tried, but the board won't boot. No cigar.

Here is another difference between Asus and MSI. When you set the FSB too high and the board won't boot, the Asus MB will reset itself to default when powered again. If you have an MSI, you will have to open the case and jumper "clear BIOS" before it will boot again.
