When I got back from South Korea I sold my gaming laptop, dell monitor, Logitech headset and Acer Ionia tablet. Zero issues. Recently, I've been selling shirts, jackets and jeans. No issues.

I like watching ebay sellers like Raiden Profits on YouTube. He makes a full time income selling items on eBay. Add YT revenue, Amazon and he does pretty good for himself.

How old is young? 10 year olds all own an iPhone X I think young people nowadays have everything. Especially latest gadgets. Most kids on Steam have good PC specs and average age on Steam are 16 and below. Just saiyan.

No one is trying to push out the PC, nor could they. The PC is being augmented as it is a bit cumbersome to haul it with you everywhere you go.
Could you imagine a doctor performing a surgery remotely on a phone screen? A photographer doing editing of a photo on a phone screen? Or a programmer trying to see 200 lines of code at a time on a phone screen? lol Not going to happen.

I can't imagine it either, but they'll just tell us that we need to adapt and stop being scared of change. PCs are no longer profitable but devices that can't be customized and need to be replaced every <5 years are, especially if they start pushing out more subscription based services. Kinda like the cloud pushers who don't believe in having on prem servers. "everything can just be done from a cloud connected tablet!".

Personally I think tablets and such are a good compliment to a PC, and not a viable replacement.

Yeah I find this nuts. Some of them even have a data plan! When I was 10 I had trouble convincing my mom to buy me a new game for my NES lol. But I learned at a young age that I can't just always get what I want and that stuff costs money.

Exactly. I see babies doodling on ipads in this day and age. I guess this is not new but thinking about it makes me jealous why I was not born in the year 2000 lol.

I mostly buy on eBay. I find eBay to be cheaper then Amazon. Especially given when you don't have Crime *cough* I mean Prime and a lot of items on eBay already have free shipping. With eBay you have to be careful at what you sell. Like a broken phone or some other broken electronic. Even if the title and description says "broken," some dumb ass will still buy it thinking it works, open a case against you and leave negative feedback. Electronics in particular can be iffy. I sold a TrackIR5 which was fully working. I barely used it. Dude buys it and about two weeks latter sends me an eBay message saying something like, "was this broke?" I was so god damn pissed. He opened a case and I stated it was working when I owned it, etc, but the moron never did send a response so the time frame for him to leave a response in the case expired and I won the case. Complete idiot.

Now PayPal offers a 6 month money back guarantee. So moron can still get their money back withen that time frame. And I used to think 45 days was bad.


As to the death of the PC. I agree about how asinine it is to type on a phone or tablet. Copy & paste can be a PITA too. And no Fing way I'm editing PHP code, etc on a damn tablet. I like my Notepad++ thank you very much. I also fly in FSX with my yoke and pedals. No tablet is going to change that immersion. Especially in the virtual reality realm. 90% of every member or lurker that has come to my site's use a smart device of one form or another and I just find that to be nuts.



This is a hell of a lot better than a stupid asinine tablet. Plan on updating the monitor one day.

I always build my own PC anyways, so it's no matter to me actually.
