Is Asus P4P800 deluxe and OCZ PC3500 mem a good match. Will my mobo work with this ram

Im thinking of getting OCZ 256mb x 1 PC 3500 ddr ram for my P4P800 deluxe, and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this ram and mobo combo. Ive heard the P4P800 can be picky when it comes to ram.

I have it's big brother the P4C800-E. I would say that 3500C is an excellant choice
as they are a 434mzh part and gives you room to tweek and OC if you want.

But...you will get MUCH better performance if you buy 2 sticks and then run them in
duel channel memory. Some benches I've seen raise performance by almost 30%
over one stick.

yeah I should have mentioned that I am getting 2 of these and plan on running them in duel channel mode. I found them for 70.00 each.

Related, I'm looking at OCZ 512 MB PC3500, OCZ433512P x 2 for $128 each. This is fine for OC'ing on P4P800 Deluxe? Or is there something else available for about the same price (512x2) ? Thanks

Just to update. I got my Asus P4P 800 deluxe and OCZ Pc3500 Mem and it works amazing. I am overclocked to around 2900 on a 2.4C pentium IV. The memory has been very stable and my benchmark scores are amazing. At 2900 my computer only reaches 42C maximum under heavy load, 26C under normal condition and Im running only stock cooling. BTW the way I Overclocked was by just going into the Asus bios and using the 20% overclock feature in the bios(Im a newb when it comes to overclocking but I was surprised when this auto setting worked, Im not sure what timing Im running) and setting PAT to standard(I tried setting it to turbo, but the computer would not post). Overall the ram works really well and I would recommend it.

Also I got my ram for 100.00 Canadian per stick. You should check out tigerdirect.ca, or .com for some great ram prices.
