That car has a paddle shifter, right?

6 speed manual only -- you gotta learn how to drive!

Lots others in that same dir, all of these are hi-res though, warning.

What do I do? I started a company, www.speakwithme.com

12,500 miles on a 2007? yes, I got it on June 17th 2006. The car came out on June 15th, so it was one of the first 10 in the country and one of only 2 sprint blue ones in the state of California.

I'm a bonafide car nut, I admit that. I was originally going to use the RS4 as a demo car for the company, and I may indeed do it up as our products go to production, but for now, it's just got the Stasis Ohlins, angel eyes, and a short shifter.

He has that G35 show car. Just search for G35, and you can find out more.

Speak With Me effectively made KITT for your car, cell phone, home entertainment, and we might enter the video game market too. First stuff won't be out till mid-2008, lots of work to go through to make it to production. We will need some beta testers in 6-8 months though, PM me if you're interested!

Go to the http://www.speakwithme.com website and click on the TechCrunch article to learn a bit more about us.

I have an S8 and a VW Passat 2.0t (07 and 06 respectively).

Passat has ~9k on it, the S8 1200. Can't say much about the S8 yet, but the Passat hasn't given me a bit of a problem.

Ah, but the R8...hrm.... =D

plus i better get some nice treatment from stealerships for owning an A8

if you take car of most any car it is generally reliable.

doesn't change the fact that audi, mini, and vw are in the bottom quarter of that chart, and MB is worse than average (it's lower than chrysler)

Damn, Audi is farther down that list than I had hoped. S4 might be a little ridiculous for me anyway...18 MPG on premium is going to be $$$$. Then again it is a 340 hp compact.

I'd probably be better off getting a certified preowned V-6 A4 from a dealer.

And nice RS4!!

I think I'd rather get the 1.8T/2.0T and a chip.

I would rather have a slightly used G35 sedan. ~$20k

How much power can you get with these chips? And I can counter by saying I could buy a 3.2 and get a turbo.

The G35 is also far up my list, along with the 350Z. I haven't really decided how much space I need in the vehicle. Got 2-3 years to figure that out though. I also get employee pricing on Lexus which would be my top choice but I don't really expect them to have any high performance manual tranny cars when I buy.

I saw the price tag you listed on that S4. I assume you blowing $30k. If you are buying it in 2 years. The IS350 should be in your range. But there's no manual tranny like you said. I would definitely look to a slightly used G35 sedan. Plenty of low end torque.

Yeah right around $30K max, maybe slightly more if it's a great deal. I can get the IS350 for I think $30,200 base, but if it doesn't have a manual tranny by that time I'm probably not going to buy it.

Is the tuner market pretty good for the G35? My plan is to keep my current car ('95 Corolla) when I get the new one, so I'll have a backup vehicle to drive around when working on the new car. G35 + turbo could be fun.

Also why do you suggest the sedan rather than coupe G35? Does the sedan lose a lot more value in the used market than the coupe?

They lose about the same value. The coupe has like a 3k-4k premium to the sedan. That's why I'm recommending the sedan. You can get a slightly used one for like $20-25k. 2 years down the road, 2007 version of the sedan would be a bargain.

I think there's more tuner stuff for the 350z if you are looking for a tuner.

Heh... I hear that! I only had glowing comments about my A4 until it hit 50,000 miles and the warranty ran out. Everything started going downhill pretty quickly from that point.

Lexus is just starting their "F" series. Who knows where that will be in 2-3 years. You can also probably expect a 300-350hp MT IS350 in that time frame as well.

Come back when you have 100,000 miles on it.

If you can afford a RS4, you most likely will never put 100,000 miles on it if you're the original owner.
