tv is boring, outdoor is boring and so all I do is computer.. but for some who never used a computer much or not at all, believes this is the culprit of my antisocial life.
imho, computer is can be wonderful if used in a beneficial way but is often being blamed for crimes related with compulsive computer user. so everyone now thinks it is evil and should be avoided as much as possible. i started when I was 15 and have been very fond of it. there is no way i can stop using it and when I do, I usually spend as much time as possible.

depends on what your setup is..
comfy chair, desk, keyboard etc..
those huge monitors can kill your eyes if your not carefull..

Get a job, go find a girlfriend, etc etc.

I used to be pretty addicted to the computer, but I never let it get in the way of school or work (though, it did get in the way of some friendships). I've started to change a bit now, trying to make myself a better person. It took quite a bit of motivation, but I feel much more confident and I'm very pleased.

You should probally do the same, its probally unhealthy (though, I do believe its better than watching TV all day), but you still need a job.

I'd say gluing yourself to anything isn't healthy - I'd be afraid the super glue would kill you from all of the toxic fumes.

as much time as possible? that's just you asking for trouble. of course, your parents should have seen this and said get off the damn computer, lazyass.... but then you would have said MOM I'LL TELL DCF THAT YOU SMOKE POT. then she'll say whatever and let you keep being on the computer, then dad comes in and says he's gonna throw the computer out and you are like "Dude WHATEVER you paid TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS for this awesome compaq! and if you do, i'll tell DCF that you beat me!" then he'll be like "whatever" and you're GOLDEN.

robcur you sound like you're not even making excuses; as if this is an ailement and you are simply addicted, like it's no longer within your control and you're a victim to it.

Here's what happens to people like you when you get to university: social outcast, no social skills, stuck in your room on your computer just like when you were 16, except this time you hear the banging on the wall of music and people next door nailing chicks.

Start working out, find some friends, go and do something other than the computer.
