Nvidia is always consistent, or at least they have been for five-six years now. They will release the 2080 and it will be 10-20% faster than a 1080ti, the 2070 will be about equal two it and both release together. Many of us will call it a piece of a crap because it's not appreciably better than a 1080ti/TXP to make it worth getting. Several months later a Titan comes for $1200+ that is 50-60% faster than a 1080ti, then a couple months after that we get a 2080ti.
