You forgot the part about drinking it fresh from the brewery, and it's a very different experience. I went to the brewery while in Amsterdam. There are far better beers to be had in England and Germany, but even then a lot of them weren't exported; and, if they were, they were nothing like the version we get in the states.

corona tastes to only what i can equate to imagine is t.j. piss water pissed out by a 350 lb. mariachi at a rundown taco shop.

i mean, hell it was fine in high school, because it was cheap, and wasnt coors lite or something. but as i got older, i discovered there are better mexican beers out there. hell, i would gladly drink a bohemia, negra modelo, dos xx's and pacifico before drinking corona. in fact, i was at a social event a couple weeks ago, and all they had was corona. i had to close my eyes and take big swigs of it because i couldnt stand the taste. and usually im not picky with my alcohol.

Always been afraid to try it. Lately I've been on a Killian's kick, with an occasional Sam Adams. Bought a case before the last hurricane meaning to have a get together and then everyone skipped town so have to drink it myself.

Being that I'm not much of a beer drinker it's going slowly. I like Killians better than Sam Adams.

That's typically my feelings on Heineken. Every one of them I've ever had....bottle or can....has smelled rotten. And tastes even worse.

Go to Amsterdam and order a Heineken. Tastes much better for some reason.

1. A lot of imported beers are different from their native versions
2. I'm not reading the first 100+ posts, but I'm sure you've been flamed by now for suggesting corona is even remotely close to the "best" beer.
3. It's too bad that you're a sucker for marketting. Most of the "BEST" beers aren't nationally advertised beers.
