Is Crucial RAM Quality Going Down?

Seriously, regardless of the tech slump, Crucial RAM quality is going down the tubes. Are any of you experiencing bad RAM?? I think the reason why Crucial RAM prices are going up is that they are experiencing too many returns, along with increased demand. Please post, I think I'm not the only one!

Well, my ram won't work with agressive timings anymore...after six months of perfection.

I expressed this opinion almost a month ago and was nearly flamed into oblivion for it.

While I haven't seen a truly dead stick yet, I've seen them lose their overclockability for no apparent reason and also seen them not overclock out of the box at all.

How about a 256MB PC2100 stick that wouldn't even do 100MHz Turbo? That's what my last one was. Would only run 133 with normal or auto timings... Max overclock was 144 CAS2.5 Auto with extra voltage. And, yes, it had Micron chips.

The only reason to buy from Crucial now is their reasonable shipping rates. And this only makes a difference on 1 or 2 modules. Their prices can be beat in quantity from other vendors now.
