Is every cyst on the butt

I have some type of cyst on mine, but it is not on the tailbone, and it doesn't hurt.
I just noticed it yesterday as a small hard lump on the inside right side, about an inch below the very bottom of my tailbone. It doesn't hurt persay, but I squeezed it yesterday and a little bit of normal blood came out of it, but nothing else. So I kinda pissed it off and it became inflamed, but it went back to its normal size by today.
It's not very big, as I can grab the entire thing with just two fingers.
I can sit down and walk without any pain, but just the thought of it being a pilonidal cyst scares the piss out of me.

Maybe just an ingrown hair or a normal cyst?

Can't hurt to see a dermatologist, especially if it's covered by insurance. There are few things worse to ask for on ATOT than medical advice.

As far as I understand, a pilonidal cyst is specific to it's location/makeup. I suffer from them, and I hate my mother for giving me these genese.

It's probably not a pilonidal cyst, I had one and it hurt like hell. I couldn't sit down at all, had to lay on my side. Have a nice 6 inch scar from the surgery to get rid of that beast.

I had one as well. However, I probably had it for a year or two before it became inflamed and actually caused pain. That's why I said to see a doctor, because the sooner they're dealt with, the easier it is (and less painful).

My friend had one, he said the doctor told him it had teeth and hair in it...EWWWWW.

I had one. Pain in the ass (pardon the pun). Had to have a surgery that left a golf ball sized hole at the base of my spine till it healed. I still have a pic somehwere
