I've been seeing it myself, and it's quite scary how fast it's happening. You would think earth changing stuff like this would happen on a period of 100's or even 1000's of years, but nope, I'd say in the past 10-15 years our winters are 1/2 of what they used to be. Less cold, less snow and more sporadic weather. Look everywhere and it's the same, so much more sporadic weather than before. Not saying crazy stuff never happened, but now it happens more.

Look at all the pollution going on in big cities like Beijing. It's sad that we are destroying the planet like this and nothing is being done, all because of money.

Though climate in general has tons of variables that affect it, so I imagine something like this is very hard to measure and prove. Perhaps if we stopped polluting we'd still be seeing some of the sporadic weather.

Basically the denier position comes down to: because Al Gore or conspiracy theories or ignorance.

If it the denier position was based on solid science, it wouldn't be the denier position, it would be the scientific consensus.

Scientific Theories are collections of many facts based on mountains of data.

Facts are PART of a theory. There is no such "fact OR theory", since that is illogical.

People who use Theory to mean something that is not proven, are using the wrong word. They should be using the word hypothesis.

Theory is essentially the same as fact for most intents and purposes.
