Not everyone will slip through, nor should they have to. This upcoming election will tell the tale of a crisis avoided, or not, but project 2025 isn’t going away, conservatives overall have decided to abandon democracy.
What makes you think Christian = conservative?

I know lots of Christians, and the primary topic amoung them is white Christian nationalism. And they are white. Educated. And not poor.

25% of US presidents come from the "denomination" I am part of, the liberal Christians you feel do not exist. Where do you think separation of church and state came from?

Some things are old, and just because some new guy grabs lots of attention does not mean you should go out and try to make all of something your enemy.

Somethings are not simple, do not let hate blind you.

Conservatives are overwhelmingly Christian by claim in the USA. That doesn’t mean that all Christians are conservatives. That’s why I didn’t say Christians have abandoned democracy, because that’s not accurate, conservatives have and they also just happen to be mainly Christian’s here. There’s also Muslims, but far far fewer yet can be just as intense and fanatical in their beliefs as Christian’s.

So your reply was just an assumption on your part.

Christians are my enemy when they force beliefs on me in any manner or method. This applies to any religious .org

Don’t criticize the god squad

Seems like a weird statement to make, like religious persecution is strong enough in our country for non believers to mostly keep it themselves, with some small groups very outwardly anti theist, this is obvious.

Anyways, some easy to find data:

Don’t criticize the god squad
criticize the God squad, yes.

Do not Hate the God squad.

Do not blame the God squad for all of societies ills.

Understand the God squad has fought on Both sides.

It is not a simple Christians are oppressing me!

Because Christians are also fighting to keep you free. And they are doing the heavy lifting.

Maybe it is less about Christianity, and more about . . . Politics?
Churches are sending us their molesters, their rapists, their grifters, and I am sure some are good people.

It matters not who is in the majority, the [insert X belief here] always is oppressing Y.

Atheism is fine and all, but it does not magically fix the issues of corruption, greed, and other human failings. Atheists are human just like the rest of us.

It takes two seconds on the internet to find a list of atheists with massive murder counts. Looking at things simply as purely [insert religion or ideology to hate today here] is foolish.

Claiming that religion is inherently evil ignores atheism's long history of evil. It is simply more complicated.

lol, body count is what matters? Sign indeed. It may not be comfortable for you to admit that your Christian peers are quite willing to destroy america and institute theocracy, or that Christian’s have a long history of murder, war, rape, death, and destruction in the name of their God…but that’s the truth of it. What-about-ism isn’t a good look bro.

We’re USA citizens first, your religion comes second to that. We all fight for religious freedom and freedom from religion, or we lose both. That’s the bottom line.

Gods not pissed, were his ant farm.

And your not comfortable admitting your Atheist peers are perfectly happy doing the same thing.

What I am claiming is we are all human beings. And human beings have a history of murder, war, rape, death, and destruction. In the name of God, in the name of Atheism, in the name of whatever they can use to murder their neighbor. We are not picky, any reason works.

Religious freedom is a fundamental right to everyone, US citizen or not.

Gods not pissed, were his ant farm.
We each have our own perception of God.

Lets talk about that.

Maybe it is different where you live.

Four dioceses from different faiths come together.

There is a politically neutral "independent committee" that people who are interested in office should say hi to. Not associated with the government, but if a person is interested in office, they know about it. This committee hand holds anyone who wants office through the process of getting on the ballot.

Nobody ever wants office, nobody volunteers. Not conservative, not liberal, nobody. If they did they would shoe in. Atheist or not. Positions have to be filled.

The committee is technically not part of the church, but since only church people are known, only church people are begged. A deal is typically made, because people really do not want to do this. A politician is born. Some people take to it, most do not. The four dioceses of different faiths then help push that person along in their career. That is how we fight.

I do not see atheist politicians anywhere. Where is your ground game? Where is your long term commitment to your people? Where are you on the ballot?

You claim you fight, but I do not see you in the fight?

You are bordering on hysterical now, very much ignoring the history of our country. I’m voting, that’s my “ground game”, religion is losing its foot hold on our country slowly but surely, theists like yourself don’t like to admit that.

The “no u” response did make me lol tho, thanks for that.

the pew research above is there if you’d actually like to take a look at it.

Your anecdote of good guys is cool and all, but that’s an anecdote. The uprising of Christian nationalism isn’t to be hand waived away by anecdotes, that’s just foolish.

Religious freedom is a fundamental right in our nation right now, that’s it. Plenty of other countries that don’t have that, and those countries are most often run by conservative religious folk.

And it’s absolutely not guaranteed here.

Your posts seem to say that you think Christian’s will save the union from…Christians.

It’s more like USA citizens will save it from religious oppressors.

You think voting is enough? Really? Sweet Summer Child.
The vote is easy to rig.

Fighting starts at the local government level, and moves from there. It is something that is done more then once a year. After all, who organizes the vote counting? Who decides which signatures are valid? Who decides what place has enough resources?
Good honest governance starts local. Voting once a year is a joke.

The Christian majority ends, but there is no political organization to replace churches. Until someone steps up, it will still be just liberal Christians fighting for the values you so espouse.

And it’s absolutely not guaranteed here.
Absolutely. And yet the only people fighting for it are the Christians you so like to Hate.

Nobody else is doing it.

and to put it bluntly, I am saying it is not about Christianity at all.

I am saying it is about Politics, and your confusing that with Christianity because Christianity is being used as a weapon. Religions and ideologies have been used as weapons since the beginning of time.

The same people using Christianity as a stick to bash you over the head will just as happily use Atheism. Your focused on the stick, when you should be focused on what is holding the stick. Looting everything in sight, convincing everyone to hate each other so it can loot everything, and doing everything to bring about hell on earth for its advantage.

Step 1: Let go of the Hate.

What a persecution and savior complex you’re presenting here. SMH, carry on Christian soldier. It seems to me that you’re the one confusing politics and religion and citizenship.

Your duty is to the constitution, as is mine. That’s what affords all people in our country religious freedom. We defend that as citizens, not as religious persons. Get your head straight.

You’re writing off millions of people who aren’t religious, don’t practice, and don’t claim membership, and many who just outright refuse to submit, but will be voting anyways, as citizens

But please, tell us how those other Christian’s aren’t real Christian’s, and then see if you can find the “no true Scotsman” fallacy and piece it together.

When the constitution was made it only allowed white landowners to vote. A minority was not even considered a full person when counted.

It has been improved, and will continue to be improved to a more perfect union.

The constitution is a tool, an agreement, to establish justice, insure safety, provide for communal defense, promote welfare of society, and secure freedom for ourselves and our children.

We have no duty to it beyond using it as tool to fulfill the above purpose. It is not holy. It is not to be worshiped. It is a tool we agree to live by, to uphold, to secure the above goals.

We can change it to better achieve said goals. It is not writ in stone. It does not transcend universal Human Rights as given by God.

So where's the proof God exists, and that it is the god you believe in as opposed to the God (or Gods) of a different religion?
That's kind of the fundamental problem with taking religious belief into into law. Faith and beliefs are not universally shared.
