She's hot. No doubt about it. Guy is okay. He's a bit over the top, but he's supposed to be. Seems like a genuinely friendly guy.

I think Guy has the best job in the entire world. I don't mind his personality - he can be irritating, but mostly comes off as a genuinely nice guy who is really interested in the places he's visiting.

Giada - good looking, but not great. Also, no one seems to notice she can't cook. I seriously question her knowledge of Italian cuisine, let alone the execution.

My girlfriends friend opened a BBQ joint called Gorilla BBQ. It's in Pacifica, CA. I would drive by it daily and noticed it didn't get a lot of business. One night my girl and I were watching DDD and saw the BBQ joint featured. Next day we drove by and there was a line out the door circling the parking lot. It is now the busiest restaurant in our city.

Owner met Guy at Infineon Raceway. Hung out, watched races and told him about his joint. Guy is the real deal.

When Giada went to Hawaii she ate at every tourist trap she came across in Maui. When Anthony Bourdain went to Hawaii, he ate at a house in the middle of an old lava flow then went to some guy's back yard for a luau and a round of Heinekens. Bourdain > Giada.
