Can we not just swap that for 1 in 5 bipolar people kill themselves, meaning that being bipolar reduces your life expectancy by 9.2 years.

You're right, it does depend on the times. It depends on recent presidents and who they've nominated to the SCOTUS. But one thing that doesn't change, is change. And as a people, we evolve over time to come to a better understanding of science, nature and our place in things.

Of course it is, it's their prejudice it's not the fault of the child. When a child wants to be a police officer and it breaks their parents heart that's okay. When a child falls in love with a black person and their parents hear it's broken that's okay. It's the fault of the prejudiced parents, not the fault of the child and definitely not the fault of people having the right to have sex and fall in love with who they want.

If it upsets parents when children become atheists or religious we shouldn't ban atheism or religion. We should educate the parents to be open minded and tolerant.

Ignorance and hate is the issue here. Not tolerance and love. If parents truly love their child why should it matter who they fall in love with? They should be proud. It's so infuriating when you hear these horror stories about parents disowning gay children. It's not okay. It's the parents deluded fault though.

I 100% believe this.

I tried to have the normal sex talk with lil rudeguy but he wasn't having it. So later on I let him know that I was 100% ok if he was gay, bi, straight or banged goats. I don't want any barriers between my son and I.
