ANYWAY, as previously stated, the net is designed for IE and all other browsers need not apply.

Name a site that WONT run IE? 'Nuff said.

Actually, the site I'm working on works better in Mozilla and Firefox, mostly because IE doesn't support the abbr tag. That and I had to do alot of kludgy crap to get the tables to render properly in IE (hint ... try mixing <pre> tags and tables.).

There isn't a website in existance the "will run IE".

Your cruising one now, mister.

LMAO ... wow, you're out here pimping IE, and you don't even understand what a browser does.

If everyone went around abbreviating things, something might get lost in the translation. Yet another testament to IEs quality, reliability and durability.

A browser primarily cruises the web, dude.

But see, that's the beauty of it ... if you know the abbreviation or acronym, you're golden. If you don't, you just hover the mouse cursor over it, and it pops up the full title. At least if you're using mozilla for firefox. If you're using IE, you gotta suck it up and go look in the glossary.

So, all the information at your fingertips -> Mozilla
Hunt around for it on another page -> IE

A website doesn't "run" IE, IE "runs" a website, just not very well.

I've noticed that a lot of people use Firefox because they think it makes them "l33t". I personally don't like it - but I love the Mozilla suite. Anyway, because so many Firefox users just want to be "l33t", I put together a language pack for Firefox (download here - replace your existing en-US.jar with this file).

Beause, despite following advice of others, IE still allows spyware to be installed on my computer. Plus I like the tabs + built in popup/spyware stopper.

Its weird that I have no spyware on my computer using IE...and its also weird that SP2 seems to have a popup blocker installed. That, and tabbed browsing sucks big time.
Some of us saw the light of Mozilla with popup blocker long before SP2. I've used Mozilla with popup blocker for years, and IE has had a popup blocker for WEEKS. You don't have to use tabbed browsing. I personally think typeahead find (find as you type) is another awesome non-IE feature, but again, you don't have to use every option.

My reason is that the interenet is designed for IE. All other browsers need not apply. That is all.
I rarely come across a site that doesn't work in Mozilla. In fact, a lot of the internet works significantly BETTER with Mozilla.

It looks a lot better with http://ctho.ath.cx/userContent.css, which you can do in Mozilla quite trivially.

I seem to like FF, I've used it for a while - even used FireBird when I only had Dial-up. I can't believe nobody has said anything about "CrazyBrowser" , I used that for a while and seemed to like it

I have had a lot of minor problems with firefox, all become annoying after a while. SP2 IE + googlebar (not for popups, for easy searching) with a good resident adware watch (lavasoft adwatch) is king.

I gave up on IE, only because of the stupid sites like hotmail, weather.com etc... that like to throw up popups, I don't like to install pop-up blockers... besides firefox has cool tabbed windows, and 98% of the sites I visit function just fine with firefox... so I don't suffer at all =)

I make idiots use Firefox/Firebird.

"Oh, you can't seem to figure out how to avoid spyware? Here use this"

/me loads Firefox and shows them the pretty icon, deletes shortcuts to IE off their desktop, and never hears about spyware from them again.

Personally I prefer IE. I never really liked netscape. Ever since IE 4.0 I've been on the MS bandwagon as far as web browsers go.

Too much of the stuff I use runs like crap, or not at all, under Firefox/Firebird.

Thanks for all your hardwork. Too bad not everyone can handle the IE.

IE is not for idiots, thats for sure!

I used to think IE was the best, but I made the switch to FireFox, got a bunch of extensions and stuff and now I love FireFox
