Is it me or do all the dumbest people work at Wal Mart

The other day I'm at WalMart. Not by choice simply had to have an item from there by necessity. I am going in the door and see these three small 90cc Four Wheelers marked down from 1700 to 700 dollars. I knew my brother in law was looking for one for his son. So I asked someone inside if they could find out if these were new or used cause the price was too good.....because the handle bars had a little paint missing. I figured either kids sitting on em there wore it off or they were refurbished which I wouldn't want itin that case.

The guy goes off and comes back a few minutes later and returns putting up his stock. I asked if he found out and he goes.
"oh..noone ever got back with me did they?" So he takes off again.
Few minutes later he comes back and says
"well, I talked to (insert name) and he said thats best they'll do whatever price is on em."

I was floored. I said we just want to know if they're new or not.

He said well.I don't know, just ask someone at the front. So we ask another guy and he goes off and talked with his manager on the radio and says they are already sold. Yet they were still sitting in front of the store. (directly between the entrance doors.)

Hey, it is in Off Topic now 10 browsers? At one time, I had like 15 open and I forgot which thread I was replying too and ended up with about 5 useless posts in the wrong topics.

Realistically, what can you expect from someone who works at WalMart and makes minimum wage? I guess we have to pay these people a little more to get better service..

cheers,

Ouch.

As a former TEAM MEMBER of Big-Kmart, I have to say that I feel deeply hurt inside by your comment. I'm going to go cry myself a river at the end of the aisle now.

Sarcasm aside, the stupidity of people working at a department store is variable. I've known of many morons that work at these kinds of stores, but many more are sincere and mostly helpful most of the time.

Besides, if you ever worked one of those jobs, you'll know that the majority of the idiots are on the customer side. Smaerty people don't help as well.

Well, these "mistakes" by the Wal-Mart employees sound almost as bad as a Senior Member (gasp!) posting in the wrong thread (Oh!)..........

Everyone's got an excuse for making a mistake when they're busy.......right?

(I couldn't resist myself.......)

well my friend, you are not on the low end of the totem poll, and yet you reply to this mistake instead of letting the thread die. And besides, sure I mess up we all do, but I was amused by it and sort of still am. I you are amused by my mistake then so be it. But I really feel that my story is better than my mistake this time.

I did a three month internship at Wal-Mart. Here's a true story...

One day I got called to the front by the people at the return desk. Apparently, there was a trail of crap leading from the front door to the middle of the store. Some old lady(without bladder control) left her bag at home and started crapping the moment she walked into the store. She didn't realize it until she got to the middle of the store. She quickly got to the restroom where she made a even BIGGER mess. In the meantime people kept coming in stepping the crap all over the place. I'm sure they can smell it but they didn't care. That's the kind of customers they were. So I was trying to get some of the associates to clean up the mess because the janitor was no where to be found. Basically, their response was fire me. I don't blame them. It took almost 30 minutes before we found the janitor to clean up the mess. The people just kept coming in. The restroom was right next to the entrance so the stench was immediate walking into the store. I couldn't believe it!

I think that stuff comes from your bowels not your bladder. Thanks for sharing that insightful story, though.

That's one of the good things about Wal-Mart, if you are ever having a bad day go to Wal-Mart and take a look around. You will feel like a million bucks.

Walmart employees are far more intelligent than those apes at Fry's and BestBuy.

They at least greet you at the door and act like they value their customers.

The worst has always been Fry's. However, those teenage mutant monkeys working at Best Buy have been moving up the chart very quickly.
