Seems a bit obviously rigged that the top 4 out of 5 are sistas.... Anyone notice how Jermaine is blowin up all the scores of the black contestants? Call me racist or whatever, i'm not... Just sayin it seems like a fix.

Very good query mary... Seems like with the ratio of of the total 50 beotches on stage far more in favor of white, the final four outta five are black.. Call all bets off, but i smell a fix....

It'd be a fix if the caucasian judges were giving the black girls abnormally low scores, while giving white girls high marks.

I was watching the swimsuit part, and he's right, Jermaine was giving the black girls much higher marks than the other judges. Not necessarily on purpose...maybe that's just what his opinion is.

There is a lot of fixing that goes on in pageants.....there's also some reverse discrimination that goes on as well. I dated a girl who was always in pageants and a lot of the time if a black girl didn't win thee would be fights backstage, lawsuits threatened, and the word racism thrown all over the place. IT's really too bad that in a lot of area these days you have people that will scream racism at the drop of a hat just to get their way. Of course those that give in to this pressure are not better. In fact I'm not sure which is worse...

Back when I was in college I was President of the College Republicans on our campus. One year when the annual Miss Black University Pageant rolled around I went and signed my girlfriend up to be in it. Now my girlfriend was white and at the first meeting for the pageant organization it caused a HUGE uproar, which is what I had intended, and they would not let her compete and said the pageant was for blacks only. I called the school newspaper and they did a short blurb on it one day and that was it. Finally I got a bunch of girls together, got a permit from the school, and put on a Miss White University Pageant....that's when the racist claims REALLY started. All I did was get a bunch of white girls together and when a black one tried to join I told them it was for whites only....they started whining and of course the paper and the college came to their defense and called me every kind of name in the book. In fact one day there was a picture of me in the paper and they had printed a picture of Hitler next to mine. Fair treatment? I think not. Ahhhh hypocrisy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ShinerBurke, it's sad but it seems that your situation is the norm. It seems that whites are far more predjudiced against nowadays. Something needs to change and in order for that to happen we need to get rid of anything that views any one race of more importance than another, no matter what. Case in point the Black College Fund. If there is going to be a BCF then there most certainly needs to be a White College Fund to balance it out, whether blacks like it or not, it's only the fair thing to do.

We can't give a certain race a job just because of their skin color, that only gives those you are trying to protect an edge over anyone else, which is totally wrong. I'm tired of people constanly crying predjudism when they do not get their way, we need to stop giving preference to minorities, it's gone way to far, and nothing is equal, in fact it is weighed in favor of minorities and the majority is getting screwed.

One of the problems is that you have politicians(Democrats) and the media perpetuating an idea of victimization on the part of minorities in this country. As long as you have that going on there will never be a chance for racism in all its forms to finally die out.

If anything, for every black person that was alive at the time, their estate would be getting 40 acres and a mule. Since it would be 40 acres of federal land, the feds would probably give you some hot land in Nevada that's just sitting around... for, say, the next 10,000 years... and a OLD mule, or the bones of it, at least.

EDIT: I dont support reparations AT ALL. All it would do is piss off us honkies against you darkies. You werent working for free, you dont deserve anything for free, IMO.

But on the topic of politically correct minority bias, it happens every day, everywhere. To often than not, minorities arent treated based on character and education, but just on the color of theyre skin. Its a complete shift almost these days. Back in the 40s and 50s it was quite apperant that negative racism was rapant, but now, most of the time its posative racism for all the wrong reasons. Id hate to think I was judged favorably just for the sole reason im black, without a second glance to my character and/or work performance or whatever the relevant topic may be. Theres a dude at work, that I swear, goes out of his way to pat me on the back in the morning and greet me with a loud exuberant, "Hey buddy ol pal!" type of greeting. Dont get me wrong, nothing wrong with that, except he only does it to me...and its not like we hang out at the bar after work and yak it up, our only interaction(if you can even call it that, works in different department) it at work. Strange.

You're not being racist Dolemite, I was just noticing that too! Everytime a sista walked on stage, I kept seeing a 9.99 from Jermaine Jackson. And the next white girl would get a 8.90 from him, then another sista would get 9.99. Is he being racist? Or is it just fixed?

Oh my God! My sis and I just finished watching that show. This was the best we had ever seen. They had so many beautiful women, in all honesty--unlike past women.

I found it odd that 4 of the 5 finalists were Blacks, but I thought they deserved it. (In all honesty, at first I thought it might be in relations with the Black Histroy month, but I thought the girls deserved it nonetheless. They were beautiful and gorgeous ladies. ) It's funny that, ironically, past judges have tended to give Black contestants extremely low scoring, though.

I luved Miss Kansas, so I was content with the picks. Of all Miss USA events I have ever watched, this was the best I had ever seen of judges with good taste and judgment. I felt a sense of honesty from the judges' side.

If the final decisionwas to be based on the final responses, the judges made an excellent pick. I told my sis that on merits I would pick Miss DC 'cuz she gave the smartest and fastest response with good composure. Then I would pick Kansas for runner-up. The rest, I didn't really care for their responses.

I wished Miss Kansas had given a better answer than Miss DC, but she didn't. Miss Kansas was so elegant . . . simple in look, tall and, well, elegant.

Anyway, the judges fitted people to their respective earned positions. They were the best of judges I had ever seen. Miss DC had the best body in swimsuit . . . none of those ladies had a perfect body, so I would pick Miss DC for best swimsuit look. Miss DC obviously lifts weight. I would almost vow that she's those bodybuilding female competitors. I'm not a fan of that kinda body for females; but speaking objectively I thought she had the best body in swimsuit.

On preference instead of merits, Miss Kansas would have gotten my vote for winner . . . I kept wishing she would win! Hehehehe!
