Is it possible to have a background image that is an actual mirror that reflects your own image?

Get a camera, and let a programm update your desktop pic with the output of the camera.

I have a prog that does update your desktop in certain intervals somewhere, but I can't remember the name. :/

It is possible, I just don't have the program . I HAVE seen it done on a Palm Pilot (I have the program for my Palm Vx), but I haven't seen the PC version...

Hmm, thats strange, cause I was experimenting with my Radeon 64 vivo. Using a vid camera attached to the vid in of the card, and messing with the ati video in software, gave me the exact results you are talking about. It would have a live cam, on my desktop. I would see all my normal icons, and could click on start, programs..etc, with no probs. It was kinda weird having a "live" background. I would ask why in the world would anyone want this though..

wait, i know what your talking about, i had an all in wonder once, where if you enabled the tv screen, it could play in the desktop, or certain color, would be replaced by the moving image.

Yeah, sure you could set up a webcam facing directly at the user, and then set the desktop to use Active Desktop so you could set it to the webpage (localhost, prolly) of the webcam. This has to be pretty idiotic, if ya ask me though, unless you're paranoid of someone sneaking up behind ya.
