Do you think it's crazy to scan 600+ mags? I won't be scanning every page but all pages with articles on them so for example a 70 page mag will have 45-50 pages that have articles or pictures on them.

Well lets ASSume that dimensions of a typical magazine are 8.3 × 11.7 and 1/4 inches thick...
1/4 * 633 = approx 158 inches
158.25 * 8.3 * 11.7 = 15368 cubic inches, which is approximately 8.9 cubic feet...
I am sure my result is too large, it should be less than that.
