Do you think it's crazy to scan 600+ mags? I won't be scanning every page but all pages with articles on them so for example a 70 page mag will have 45-50 pages that have articles or pictures on them.
I guess I will find out how tough my Canon Scanner is

I did it so that I would not be a pack rat.......... that collection is 9 bank boxes big (I gave away 7 boxes already).

Heeh, but with 1TB drives getting pretty cheap, shouldn't be too bad! What kind of scanner did you use? Certainly not a cheap one -- I had an inexpensive scanner which up and quit on my after maybe 12 months of mild use.
