Christmas was recognized after him.
If this isn't a joke, then I don't know what to say.
Me either. What Xmas in July? What does any of this matter, won't change anything. Just like the new gospel according to Judas that was found recently. Mans perception of events that took place, what else is missing, what else really did happen, that we don't know about. Be interesting to findout the truth for once. I'd like to know what is false about the bible, yeah, 99% of it.
Have you even read the bible? I love people who bash it when they probably haven't taken the time to read it themselves.
Oh please, don't give me that holier than thou attitude, all I am saying, you never know.
I am also Irish Roman Catholic, I am *somewhat* familiar with the bible.
There's a difference between making the claim that you are of a certain faith and practicing the faith.
Whether the bible has its falicies or not, running around saying 99% of it probably isn't true then saying you believe in its teachings just makes you look dumb.
How can you believe in the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, which is based from the bible and not believe that it's true?
Also, the fact that you are Irish or of Irish descent really has no bearing on following the Roman Catholic religion.
Did you not see the That was meant for sarcasm, learn it. Ones background, whether it be Irish or not, I do realize has no bearing on the Roman catholic religion. It was just a statement.

This thread may not be the place for serious discussion, however I do think Jesus was born in September. Christmas means "Christ sent" so Dec. 25 would mark the day he was made flesh when Mary conceived miraculously.
