A+ is an outdated certification. The last time i reviewed the test for A+ it involved so much legacy BS that i havent seen in a real enviroment in ages. Its a waste in my opinion, but some employers still hold stock in it.... it goes either way and depends on what you wanna do.

The A+ is worth nothing by itself. When combined with even a small amount of tech experience it can help get your foot in the door. My A+ cert not only helped me get a job, but I got my wife a job with it as well.
If you get an A+ and then let it sit in your wallet or you rely solely on it without combining it with some experience, then it is a waste of time.
