is it worth upgrading my GTS?

Hi,
about over the last 3month i have given my pc a "big" upgrade.
20GB 5400RMM IBM to 40GB 7200RPM Maxtor
128mb PC100 Memory to 768mb PC133 Memory
Asus A7V to Abit KT7A-Raid
Hercules GF2 MX to Creative GF2 GTS
Mini Tower Case to Midi Tower
Guillemot Fortissimo to Live 5.1
Duron 600 to Duron 1GHZ

As u can see a have a reasonably speced pc.

What is was wondering is it worth upgrading my Video Card?
The GTS seems fine at the moment and has lots off cooling gear on it(Crystal Orb, TT DDR Heatsinks on both sides of the card). But my main problem is overclocking it.
i can get the memory to 350mhz and it runs fine in quake, but in 3DM2k1 i get lots of screen corruption, also max payne refuse to run.
Also, why is my default memory speed 315mhz? is should be 333mhz.

it can't be a ventilation problem as my old mx was clocked to 210/210 from 175/183 with no heatsinks on the memory and my duron600 was overclocked to 800mhz.

Is there a overclocking limit that me GTS`s memory can do?

My old GTS did 230/370, but I got a GF3 Ti200 some weeks ago, which run perfectly @ 230/540.
I think the upgrade was worth it, becasue now I can run all new games (except Medal of Honor demo) @ 1024x768x32 with quincuiz and aniso and still lie WAY over 60 fps all the time

I would wait around to see what happens when the GeForce4 comes out. The problems you have encountered with Max payne sounds like a software related issue (driver, program, directX). Shouldn't be anything standing in your way of enjoying that gem of a game!

And 3DMark2001? Well, it's a BENCHMARK program! Do as I do - drop it into the seven seas of rubbish! Usually dxdiag can help you locate problems way faster.
