Is it worth using XP64? (RTM version)

I have the RTM version of XP64 that I got through MSDN, and I'm curious if it's actually worth using. I do alot of gaming and such, but I don't do any floating point scientific stuff or use 8GB of RAM. I've heard some people say XP64 is faster in all regards, from opening programs, to just the "general feel" of the OS being very quick. Anyone know if this is true? If things will feel faster, and especially if programs will open/load quicker, it's worth it to me.
