The more previews I see, the more I want to go see this movie. It sounded stupid at first. Like a crappy anime adaptation. The more I see of it the more robots kicking each others ass sounds cool. They didn't do it in 3d did they? Cuz that would ruin it for me. I hate wearing those stupid glasses.

It looks it might be a decent popcorn flick, I don't think it'll be good though. I think if it generates positive buzz I'll go watch it, but otherwise it'll be a rental for me. You have to hand it to Hugh Jackman though, he ups the ante every time. I bet you guys didn't think he could star in a worse movie than X-Men Origins: Wolverine but he's here to prove you wrong.

The movie looks like a good family movie, maybe its something I take my son and daughter to and not have to worry about nudity and sex scenes.

Hehe, reminds me of how I knocked my sisters tooth out with my tonka truck in 1972. I remember looking for a "real" tonka truck for my son in 1995 because they were all plastic at the time. I finally found one of the real metal ones. He was popular in the sand pit.

HAHA, I think I'm one of the few people in these nerdy forums that thought the entire X-Men movies that came out where complete trash. They are awful and Hugh starred in them all. I did like his role in the Prestige though and a few other movies. I don't find him a terribly great actor though. Not bad, but not great. I'll catch this movie sometime later on Netflix if I can remember it when it finally gets put on Netflix 3 years from now.

i wanted to see it more before i saw it has some sort of kid angle. the first advert did not clearly show this, and it seemed more like a badass rocky meets fighting robots movie. now there is some kid, and hugh jackman is all smiling and whatnot. so, not as interested now.

I was going to say there might be one if they just spent the money and gave it to people who come into the theater. And didn't charge for tickets to take a huge loss.
