"Hey Buddhist, growing up in Japan, you should know that you are allowed to marry FIRST cousins there."
Hey now, i never said anything about that not being true.
All i stated was in the old days it was allowed even between closer relatives.
"Thats nasty man. Its your blood relative."

"Little rant: This @#$!#$ crappy ISP connection is giving me the #$%@!& #$@!'%! Come oooooooon! LOL
I suppose while i'm at it i should clarify my position.
Frankly ,and genetically speaking,i don't care so long if your removed far enough, IE no direct blood relatives, no first or second cousins. Reason for this is because of gene pool being crossed which is not a good thing. As to finding your cousin attractive, hell your human aren't you? Your hard wired to think of people as either or naturally so its hard to distinguish cousins from this factor as well. Only do we psychologically as an after thought go "eww thats my cousin" which may i reminds some of us, is nothing more then a taboo instilled in us from a young age. In the old days, breeding mates were much more selective and thus it was considered acceptable ,and the right thing, for people to breed between brothers and sisters as well as close cousins in order to keep their unique heritage (often nobility/royalty) in tact. Thus did we see such illustrious insane characters such as nero (ol' little boots), and common ailments throughout different monarchy's of europe.
