Is Kennedy Space Center worth a visit?

Really? That's too bad. Yes, that was a long time ago, but I don't see why they'd keep people out of it, it's just a BIG empty room. Unless, with the shuttle program it might be seldom empty.

Is that the huge building with an American flag the size of a basketball court painted on it? When I went there last year it was just a drive by. But there really isnt much to see, and the tall doors are open to look in. You get to see the crawler up and close at least.

The flag is about twice the size of a basketball court. It is 209ft x 110ft

actually, october 8th is the next launch date...it's really early in the morning though, around 1:30 if i remember correctly. but that being said, a night launch is one of the most bad ass things you will ever witness in your life.

Actually, a Delta II or III exploding at night is one of the most bad ass things you will ever witness in your life.

Just get there early and board the bus on the right as soon as you get in. There was no line when I got there about 10am but around 1pm, the line was looooooong..........
