there's so much more to the korean cuisine than kimchi, kalbi, bbq that it is unbelievable
Outside of koreatown it's inaccessible. That's why these hayan-peeps are talking about korean bbq.

What's blasphemous is that Koreans always eat their meat well done. This is why I don't go to expensive Korean BBQ.
Kimchi = vomit (sure smells like vomit anyway)
Don't like their beef/chicken/pork marinades... too sweet for me. Now the Beef Brisket, I can handle 5-6 rounds of at any AYCE Korean bbq place with seasame oil, salt, and pepper.
I love korean food, especially korean bbq....but there is one thing i dont like. The tofu soup. I would stay away from that.
Southern BBQ > *
YES! IT'S DELICIOUS!
I don't like the language, or even the people really, but Korean food is AWESOME.
Don't like the people? WTF is that about?
Agreed, the food is awesome.

i want to give it a try but dont know what koreans eat.
So wtf do korean people eat? is it good?
now what if i dont like seafood or pork? does that ruin the menu?
How can you compare Southern BBQ which is a whole culture onto itself with Korean BBQ which is only called BBQ because of the cooking method. Koreans aren't even TRYING to compete. They just happen to cook this particular cut of meat over charcoal.
