Is my 400W Fortron enough?

After I upgraded to an X2 and overclocked, my system sometimes reboots right after typing in the login password for Windows...it passes SuperPi 32M without a problem and is ORTHOS stable for quite a few hours, so I'm inclined to believe that my PSU is at fault...however, the reboots usually only happen at login...

I'm running a 400W Fortron AX-400PN with a max draw of 25A on its dual +12V rails IIRC (rated at 16/18A)

2.6 GHz 3600+ Brisbane (1.425V)
2 GB DDR2 (2.1V)
1 eVGA 7600GT @ 600/1560 MHz
1 SB Audigy 2 ZS
1 Seagate 7200RPM HDD
1 NEC ND3550 DVD-RW Drive
1 Floppy drive
2 92x38mm NMB fans
1 LED 80x25mm fan
1 120mm AC12025 side fan
1 92mm fan on Freezer 64 Pro
1 50mm Sunon chipset fan

think you could've messed up your OS while testing clocks?

seems odd to be a psu issue when prime , orthos etc are stable but your re-booting on logins.

I don't know really...I did have a bit of a BIOS issue with the latest v1.6 MSI BIOS not letting me run HTTs above 270 stably, so I went back to the v1.5 BIOS...Windows never really showed any signs of being messed up though...the worst that I had to go through while OCing was a few disk checks after some hard shut downs due to lock-up. There were also a few times where the login window (I use the traditional Win 2k style login) showed the squared off title bar (like Win 2k and older) rather than the rounded off Windows XP title bar and then just shut off before the rounded title bar could even be displayed...don't know whether that's a sign of a messed up Windows install though.

Not sure though...would anyone care to enlighten me?

Your PSU should be more than enough, I would blame it on a crappy driver that is loaded upon windows starting or something. Try turning off windows auto-restart on error and see if its a BSOD

Definitely something to check. I ran into the exact same symptoms once and it turned out to indeed be a driver problem.
