Depends. Is it homemade mayonnaise? Throw it out, that shit's gone bad. Is it store-bought mayonnaise? It's fine; there's enough preservatives to keep it safe for one night. I wouldn't leave it out longer than that, but it won't kill you. Of course, it's only like 3 bucks a jar, so if you're that concerned, just buy a new one.

I wouldn't use it, but that is because there is only one food I put mayo on and I no longer partake in french fries.

But, I'm sure it's fine. It takes longer than 24 hours for food to spoil probably.

Storebought mayo is, as mentioned, pretty full of preservatives, and it's winter in America, so your house is presumably not that warm during the day.

I've left mine out for days sometimes, no issues. It's a risk, but it's probably about as risky as eating cookie dough. aka I've never gotten sick from it.

But you'll probably die (just covering myself for when the lawyers show up).

if it smells good your fine. i left mayo out overnight a few times i ate it like normal. now if u left a spoon or something in it i would be cautious.

Its probably fine. In high school I worked at the local BK and the big mayo container sat out all day with no cooling. Like others said it is full of preservatives.
