I'll try to describe the problem as best I can.
I built the system (my first) about 10 months ago:
X2 4200, DFI Infinity NF UltraII, 2GB RAM, DVD burner, 2 HDDs, X850XT and HD Wonder tuner card, all in a Sonata II.
About a month back, the PSU died. System would not start, power LED on mobo would not go on. So I finally got around to replacing it (using laptop in meantime) with a new, stronger PSU.
Everything's connected, and I push the start button. CPU, Mobo, video card and case fan all spin. Hard drives are also spinning. But the system never goes through its series of clicks and beeps and begins to boot. Just fans spinning. Doesn't even go to BIOS.
What would cause this? I'm a newb in diagnosing problems. Would it be a bad mobo? Or is my primary HD drive toast. Or could it be something very simple that I just wouldn't know about??
I'd appreciate any help with this. Thanks.
