Is my mobo FUBAR?

I am trying to get my new build working & install XP, but have a seemingly serious problem. When I power on the PC shows an MSI screen saying hit TAB to post or DEL to go to BIOS. Well I hit the kays on my keyboard & got nothing. This is with both USB & PS2 keyboards so I don't think the keyboard is the problem.

I tried clearing CMOS &, this is where it gets wierd, it still shows the same screen. The board had been flashed to a Diamond BIOS before being sent to me, so I know that it shouldn't show this screen when I clear CMOS, or should it? I am seriously stumped & need some expert help please, thanks.

I already tried the 2 I have. The PS2 keyboard is a Dell from a Dimension 2400 and the USB keyboard is a Saitek Gaming keyboard I just got from NewEgg today. I am currently typing on the Dell, so they both work. I don't know why the CMOS didn't reset the motherboard? Is there something I need to do other than unplug the PSU & push the CMOS button?

-Also, the backlights on the Saitek come on when I power on with that keyboard, while none of the lights on my Dell come on.

Will they RMA a Neo4 Platinum mobo with a Diamond BIOS on it?

I had the same exact problem with my MSI Neo2 Platinum motherboard until I tried my PS/2 keyboard with the top PS/2 port (the one for the mouse) and had everything working. I immediately thought the bottom PS/2 port was fried, but then a week later I switched my keyboard back to the bottom PS/2 port and everything worked fine.

Bios may be set for USB keyboard - but with no USB driver it don't know what to do. Use a standard ps2 keyboard and mouse to get yourself started. After it's all up and running, then make the switch.

Reset your CMOS and when you get in set it up for system defaults and you should be OK.

I doubt they'll RMA it as you've probably void your warranty with that flash, but if you're lucky, they might RMA it.
